Hop on board one of our highroof minibuses (11 passengers max) and traverse Wellington's narrow and winding streets on our intimate and informative two hour guided Tour.
Take in stunning views, fascinating architecture, eclectic suburbs and beautiful coastal scenery while our local guides tell you all about Wellington's unique culture, history and city life.
Enjoy our 3 photo stops where you can get off and explore, and then get back on the same minibus 5-10 minutes later.
And we have handpicked the best hop off and hop on stops if you want to enjoy any of Wellington's iconic attractions for longer (hourly schedule). Our personalised service means we always know when and where you want to be picked up again.
We depart daily from the city i-SITE Visitor Centre bus stop, on the hour starting at 10am, with the last Tour leaving at 2pm.
Three great places to explore and take photos and get back on the same minibus 5–10 minutes later. Bathroom facilities are available at the top of the Cable Car.
MOUNT VICTORIA LOOKOUT
Enjoy stunning 360 degree views of all of Wellington, the Harbour and Cook Strait; watch planes take off below you.
THE TOP OF THE CABLE CAR
Enjoy a fabulous view from the other side of the Harbour, get a close look at the Cable Car and/or visit the Cable Car Museum; also a good place for a “rest stop”, being halfway through the Tour.
OLD SAINT PAUL'S
A breathtakingly beautiful native wooden timber cathedral – one of Wellington’s best heritage sites.
Tours start and finish at the bus stop at 101 Wakefield St, next to the i-SITE Visitor Centre in the city (see map below).
Free pick up is available from selected accommodation (drop off at the i-SITE). Call us before 9am on the day of your Tour to arrange.

Arriving by cruise ship
If travelling on the Celebrity Solstice, Radiance of the Seas or Voyager of the Seas you have three options:
–Taxi (about 5 minutes and $15 each way) –Shuttle bus to/from ship to i-SITE (which your cruise ship operates for $10/return) –Walk about 25-30 minutes (2.5km/1.5m) along Waterloo Quay or the waterfront see blue route on map
If travelling on the Dawn Princess, Sea Princess, Sun Princess or Diamond Princess you have three options:
–Taxi (about 5 minutes and $15 each way) –Shuttle bus to/from ship to Brandon St (which your cruise ship operates for $10/return) and 10 minute walk to i-SITE see orange route on map –Walk about 25-30 minutes along Waterloo Quay or the waterfront see blue route on map
If travelling on a cruise ship that docks at Queen’s Wharf:
–Walk about 10 minutes (800m/900yds) along the waterfront to i-SITE see red route on map
Tours depart on the hour from 10am to 2pm
We operate seven days per week except Christmas day and closed on Mondays from 1 June to 30 September.

Other Important Information
Passes are valid for one 2 hour Tour (excluding hop off time) on the same day.
Passes for the 1pm and 2pm Tours are valid for use the next day up to 1pm or 2pm, please enquire
Whilst every effort will be made to deliver the Tour as listed, we reserve the right to alter timetables, routes, pick ups or alternative transport

We can accept VISA, MasterCard or cash (correct change is appreciated). Please note, we do operate on a first-come basis so we do recommend booking if possible.
